Spherical head bar anchors are used in very thin walls or in walls of reinforced concrete beams. They can also be used to transport prefabricated wall panels. The specific gravity in thin walls of prefabricated units is transferred by directing the force to the ribbed steel of the anchor. This is why in this solution the anchorage depth of the ribbed steel must be thoroughly considered.
